Women's Programme Knitting Workshop

The Baptist Seminary offers a Women's Ministry Programme.  In July 2012 some of the students and teachers in this programme held a knitting workshop and teaching time at Mwembeshi.  Mrs. Songja Pack, teacher for the Women's Ministry Programme organized this special activity for the ladies.

Establishing new Bible schools

Three of the seminary teachers travel great distances in order to encourage new Bible schools.  Recently the Principal, Ezron Musonda, John McPherson, and Van Thompson spent a weekend in Lundazi in northeastern Zambia (June-July 2012) and a week in Mwenda (July-Aug 2012) in the eastern side of the Central Province to promote local leadership training through Bible school.

Bible Schools

The Baptist Seminary promotes local leadership training through the Bible schools.  At present there are about 18 different Bible schools in many locations around Zambia that are recognized by the seminary.  These schools offer a basic program of study in the Bible and other practical courses based on God's word.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."  2 Timothy 3:16

Support for BTSZ

God is the supplier of all good gifts. The Baptist Seminary acknowleges its total dependence on God's goodness in the ministry of training leaders for the churches of Zambia.  The seminary is dependent on believers being obedient to God's calling in their lives to keep up the support of the seminary.
Support from the seminary comes from a variety of sources.  Students are required to pay fees during their time at the seminary.  Some students are able to find sponsors to help with their fees.
There is a Conference Centre on campus with a meeting room, a kitchen, dormitory rooms, and bathrooms for groups to hire.
A banana grove on campus yields fruit for sale in the local community to supply funds for the seminary operation.
Churches in the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia throughout Zambia holds a "Baptist Seminary Day" annually and take up an offering in support of the seminary.  Churches have also provided materials and labor to improve the facilities.  Gifts in kind in the way of maize and other physical gifts have also come from churches of the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia.
Gifts from individuals and friends of the seminary in many places around the world contribute to the seminary support.
"And with all His abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my God will supply all your needs."  Philippians 4:19
